Here in BC Canada we first have to take a course on safety be licensed to own guns with back ground checks from police. Then we have to take a hunters course so we know how the regulations work how to identify different animals big game small game and birds and were best to shoot them also gun safety and identification is a very big part of the course. it takes a couple hours over 3 days to complete the course and take the test.. any competent person can pass this test. their is no shooting of any rifles they expect you to learn how to shoot your rifle properly at the rifle range. you can go on your own and hunt or with a group that is up to you here.
